Patriotic festivities in Vancouver during Canada Day

The day to celebrate our love for Canada is coming! Canada Day is celebrated in July 1st, and this year marks the 5th edition of the Canada Day Parade, presentedA the Burrard Inlet Fireworks Society and the Department of Canadian Heritage. The event is free, and starts at 7pm. Prior to that, many activities for the whole family will be held at Canada Place, including music, sports and the presence of Canada’s Army, Navy and Air Force. At the end of the day, the fireworks show can be seen at Coal Harbour.
What:A Canada Day at Canada Place and Canada Day Parade
When:A during the whole day in July 1st:

  • Activities at Canada Palace from 10am to 6pm
  • Canada Day Parade at 7pm
  • Fireworks at 10:30pm


  • Daytime activities at Canada Place;
  • Canada Day ParadeA begins at Georgia & Broughton Streets. Heads east to Burrard Street, proceeding north down Burrard Street with dispersal at WestA Pender Street.
  • Fireworks at Coal Harbour
